If the feed rate of the material is too high into the furnace, the material will not be properly heated and hence the output of the furnace will be a compromised quality product.
If the feed rate of the material is too low into the furnace, the furnace will not be working to its full efficiency and there will be loss of electricity, time and other factors as well.
Here our Furnace Feed Rate Control System plays a very important role in maintaining exact feed rate into the furnace hence achieving best quality and efficiency out of the furnace.
The material being fed into the furnace is first weighed in a hopper. The slat conveyor takes the material to the hopper. The panel controls the speed of the slat conveyor. The material in the hopper is filled in two parts. First part is filled in fast speed and second part is filled in slow speed hence high accuracy is achieved. Now when the required material is available in the hopper, the automatic gate opens. The material is released onto the vibratory feeder which spreads the material evenly and feeds to the furnace.
The weighing hopper is based on load cell and is supplied with a weighing controller which can communicate with PLC via MODBUS and give potential free relay outputs for the set values. These values can also be set by HMi though PLC.
User can select the weight per minute to be fed into the furnace.
This system can also be incorporated into any existing furnace or new furnace.
This system can be customized as per the requirement and application of the user.
