Digital Weight Controller
WSI Manufactures all types of digital weight controller with multiple relay outputs, analog outputs and digital outputs and connectivity options.
Digital weight controller are used where the load cells and weighing system is need to be connected or interfaced with some other system like PLC or automation systems. Digital weight controller become very useful in these application. They provide very high accuracy as compared to the signal converters or amplifiers. These controllers also have digital display to show weight and for feeding different parameters of the operations like setpoint feeding and other settings. Digital weight controllers have front panel keypad to perform the programming of the controller.
The digital weight controller with relay outputs are ideal for batching applications. The indicator normally have two potential free relays with two digital user programmable set points. Each set points operated the corresponding relay. These relays can be connected to PLC and the PLC can take necessary action as per the input. Like in batching systems, the relays can be configured as Fine and coarse feeding. When the process starts, the PLC opens the Coarse gate and lets the high volume of material discharge from the hopper. When the first setpoint is achieved, the controller operates the relay and PLC closes the coarse gate and opens the fine gate. Now the material flows slowly and just when the second and final setpoint is reached, the controller operates the relay and the PLC stops the process. The value of the fine setpoint can be changed to achieve higher level of accuracy.
These controllers can also be used in the check weighing applications. These controllers have 3 potential free relays for check weighing application. The user can feed the acceptable range for the check weighing application. Now when the weight comes on the load cell the indicator reads the weight and gives signal to corresponding relay to operate. First relay is “Below range”, second relay is “In range” and third is “Above Range”. These controllers can also be connected to PLC for rejection mechanism to operate.
Modifications as per your requirement is also available and other connectivity options such as RS-232. RS-485, Modbus RTU, Wi-fi, Ethernet Bluetooth are also available optionally.
