Conventional Multi load cell Weighing Systems:

Conventional multi load cell weighing systems are systems with standard platform sizes with four load cell mounted on each corner of the platform and are connected to the digital indicator through a junction or summing box which sums up the signal from all the four load cells and given single load cell signal to the digital indicator. The junction box or summing box also enables the installation engineer to eliminate the eccentricity error and compensate the signal of all four load cells. Usually the platform size of these types of systems is square and is ranging from 1000x1000mm to 2500x2500mm. The platform structure is made of steel and sufficient strength to withstand the rated capacity. Ramps are also provided if required by the customer and application.

Customized Multi Load Cell Weighing Systems:
In customized Multi Load Cell weighing Systems, the load cells are installed at any instrument or machinery which is used as base for the load to be measured. The number of load cells depend on the dimensions and dynamics of the instrument on which the load cells are to be installed. 4,5,6,8 load cells can be mounted as per requirement. The junction box or Summing box sums the signal of all the load cells and givens one signal to the digital indicator. It also enables installation engineer to eliminate the eccentricity error if any. The capacity of each load cell depends upon the requirement of the system. Normally the total weighing capacity of the system is kept at-least 1.5 times of the required capacity. Any machinery or instrument can be installed with the load cells to monitor the weight being transferred on to it.
For example if the weight of a pallet is to be monitored on the pallet wrapping machine itself, the load cells can be placed under the pallet wrapping machine and the digital indicator will show the weight of the pallet when it kept on the pallet wrapping machine.
