Gear Shift Force Sensor is used to monitor the force applied by the user to change the gear of a automobile.

This sensor mounts directly onto the gear lever and is two axial transducer which gives reading in Fx and Fy Directions.
Another version with 3 axis force measurement is also available which measures Fx, Fy and Fz axis.
Supplied with digital indicator cum data logger with digital and analog output ports.
The sensor is mounted on a adaptor which connects the sensor with the gear shift shaft. This adaptor is removable. This makes the sensor capable of being used at different gear shifters with just change of the adaptor. One adaptor as per user specifications is supplied with the sensor.
Can be used anywhere where bi-directional force applied by the user or a machine on a shaft is required to be measured.
Available with capacities ranging from 100N to 2000N, it can be used in various applications apart from automobile gear shifts.
The Gear Effort indicator have two LCD displays for X axis and Y axis. The forces of both the axis are displayed simultaneously and peak value is also recorded. Also the indicator gives Serial data output also for each axis and also have 0-10v DC analogue output for each axis.
The system can also be supplied with inbuilt data logging facility where the data can be recorded on the Pen drive attached to the indicator and the data will be logged into the pen drive which can be then downloaded on the computer system and can be opened in Excel or word programs.
Customization, if required, can also be done as per customer requirement.
